Reports by the Akron Fire Department are that a female was seen jumping off the Route 8 bridge at around 10:28am. We have an earlier time of between 8-8:30am from an eye witness report. The woman ended up landing at 500 E. North Street in Akron, OH and died. The woman was of Caucasian decent and believed to be an older lady.
